If food waste turns bad and cannot be transformed into feed, then it makes sense to feed it to larvae. Generally, food waste should not be routed to biodigesters or gasifiers.
If high-grade heat and biochar are needed, there are many types of agricultural residue and woody biomass at Level 4 that can be used to fulfill this need. There are levels of waste transformation that should be respected in order to achieve the highest environmental and economic benefit.
http://epwt.vn/en/2017/05/15/summary/
Trlahhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15572529013865698600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17224407.post-29993624910553150712018-12-03T21:27:32.267+08:002018-12-03T21:27:32.267+08:00UPM Malaysia has done the same. Unfortunately, its use is likely to remain limited to the developed world unless it can be modified in one important way. Barrels are very valuable in the developing world. In fact, they constitute 90% of the cost of a standard JRo when made from scrap. Unless the upward extension provides a major cost:benefit improvement in a world of very low labor costs, it is hard to figure how to convince farmers and other poor people to consider this design.
صيانةhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11902685861591420619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17224407.post-58748767668380162822017-03-20T13:53:14.612+08:002017-03-20T13:53:14.612+08:00Hello, We are open to host a biochar workshop in ...Hello, We are open to host a biochar workshop in Phayao, Northern Thailand.
Bruce Bebe, Director, Phayao Permaculture Center, Pa Daeng, Phayao, Northern Thailand Bruce Bebe, Phayao Permaculture Centerhttp://www.permaculturephayao.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17224407.post-73974187994063391122017-03-15T13:39:24.476+08:002017-03-15T13:39:24.476+08:00Nicely done. This trip will include workshops on biochar production, organic nutrient blending and trial design as well as workshops and tours related to sustainable agriculture and agroforestry. November in Nepal brings the rice harvest period so travelers will join locals to learn how communities collectively work together during rice threshing. For those looking for a unique opportunity to learn the fine art of oxen ploughing and planking, this may be just the trip for you! Further details to come, but please reach out to Kathleen Draper (draper@ithaka-institute.org) if you are interested in joining the Odyssey as space is limited."Trlahhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15572529013865698600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17224407.post-58981324486786744142016-06-07T17:35:29.151+08:002016-06-07T17:35:29.151+08:00One thought about using biochar in potting mix. I think that the problem is that biochar is capable of retaining so much water that is there is too much in the mix, you end up with problems. Nothing scientific here, just enough bad plantings that I decided to switch mixes.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15301355475894306296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17224407.post-33557996119364772632016-05-23T14:36:43.009+08:002016-05-23T14:36:43.009+08:00This is a wonderful idea, but with all the will in...This is a wonderful idea, but with all the will in the world, it is HOT air, unless it gets translated into Thai, and published in Thai every newspaper, with editorial opinion as well.
